Vision or Mission

Vision’ and ‘Mission’ are often used interchangeably

  • A clear, compelling statement of what the company aspires to become in the future
  • Conveys the unique purpose of a company
  • Delimits the scope of activities that the company is, or will be, undertaking

Companies need vision to

  • provide a sense of direction and purpose to the organization
    guide the development of strategies and organizations
    energize and inspire people to action
